Let yourself be surprised at the “Kräuterreich”

In his restaurant 60 km from Salzburg, toque-awarded chef Vitus Winkler makes no compromises. The menu is set at short notice – using only the best ingredients of the day. And you get to have a say! Just tell us what you don’t like (e.g. offal or seafood) or can’t eat due to intolerances (e.g. gluten) and how many courses you would like. Then sit back and let yourself be surprised by imaginative masterpieces, course after course.

Our “Kräuterreich”by Vitus Winkler gourmet restaurant is one of the best in Austria. Leading food critics celebrate Vitus Winkler as a poet of the kitchen and a virtuoso of the stove. We currently hold four toques by Gault&Millau and four stars by the Guide A la Carte and are a member of the Jeunes Restaurateurs. As a certified sommelier, Vitus personally selects the accompanying wines for his gourmet menus – fine wines from Austria and around the world. We also like to delight our guests with our excellent juice accompaniment.
